Organisational Information

The company bcws.ch GmbH was founded in 2000 by Markus A. Brotschi and Daniela Brotschi. We are a family-run business and our customers are not just "numbers" but usually almost family members. We help you before purchasing – and also once the purchase has been made. Please understand if it takes a little longer, we are not machines but only human (and that is pretty good).

Environment

Fairness is one thing that is very important in our company. Fairness to you, dear customer, but also towards environment. That is why we try not to throw away boxes and packaging material, even though some storage space is lost. Please do not be surprised if you receive our great weather station in an “old“ box.

Technology

The main area of activity of bcws.ch GmbH was the development of web solutions and presences on the internet for customers. Gradually we started offering merchant solutions for our clients and for our newly established brand "SwissWetter.ch". In 2007 we started operating the first major self-hosted store. This store lasted until the end of 2013 and in those 6 years, we had over 3.5 million visitors. At the end of 2013, we decided to replace our store with a newer and better store. With the opening of the new store and the new inventory software, we have also introduced the new payment method "postfinance".

Internals

We dont let ourselves get worked up so easily. Your orders are in good hands with us and we do everything we can to treat the customers the way we would like to be treated.

Stock

A high level of readiness for delivery is of great importance to us. Nevertheless, it may happen that some of our products are sold too quick for us to react accordingly – this is sometimes hard to estimate. In general, we always try to replenish our warehouse as quick as possible. In the Davis equipment sector, we buy directly from the European importer and have thus virtually a direct connection to the Davis stock. In Switzerland, we have the largest Davis stock and are now selling also by far the largest quantities.

Prices

No, we are not the cheapest. Of course we sometimes offer certain discounts, but our credo is to be there for our customer over the next 10 years. We try to keep our prices as low as possible. We operate this shop especially for 2 reasons: Because is makes us happy and because we enjoy the weather and its technology.
